I'm making yarn!

Just spent a wonderful 3 days at Stitches West. While there I finally had the chance to try my hand at spinning. Let me tell you, I'm already hooked! This photo is of my very first attempt at spinning. I love it! I got a couple of drop spindles yesterday and bought some yummy roving today. Can't wait to actually knit something up from a yarn I have created!

    I have not braved the spinning yet! It was fun meeting you this weekend. I hope I see you again sometime. At least we all have these virtual homes to drop by :)

    It looks like you are already getting pretty even in your spinning.
    I learned to spin at stitches in just the same way. Although it was two years ago. It's wonderful that there is a booth to learn to spin.

      Thanks Audry! So you've been spinning for 2 years? Where do you find your fiber? I bought some roving/braids at Stitches, but will probably go through them in no time! I was amazed that there were several booths that were promoting spinning this year!
